DUI Drysuits

Drysuits Information

A drysuit is a significant investment, one that you’ll expect to last for many dives. So it pays to invest in a high quality suit. Putting features like kneepads, boots and zippers aside for a moment, the main thing to consider when choosing a drysuit is how its component material is made. Nearly all drysuits are made from foam neoprene. Some manufacturers use compressed neoprene while the better manufacturers use crushed. Crushed neoprene is significantly superior. As the name implies, crushed neoprene is foam neoprene crushed, making the neoprene tougher, more flexible, and more comfortable than any foam neoprene on the market. DUI invented the crushed neoprene process and called it CF200. Since that time CF200 material has been the standard by which all other drysuits are measured.
