The DX-D70 housing is designed for beginners and professionals alike with powerful features that are easy to use. It offers high-quality 6.1 megapixel images with a speed of capture that rivals film-based single-lens reflex cameras. Its compact and easily maneuverable body gives you the freedom to capture exactly the images you want. The DX-D70 puts the power and excitement of a new generation of digital cameras into your hands.

The N-connector, a 5-pin Nikonos-type sync connector, comes as standard equipment. It provides compatibility with Sea & Sea YS series strobes (excluding models YS-25AUTO, YS-25DX, and YS-60TTL/S).

The DX-D70 is compatible with the full range of NX ports available for the Sea & Sea Nikon housing line. These ports accommodate a variety of Nikon and Sigma lenses available for the D70. You can quickly set up the DX-D70 for exactly the image-capturing configuration you need.

Features of the DX-D70


The housing back's large window makes it easy to view the D70 LCD monitor underwater. 		 

The large shutter release lever is easy to click. The D70 eliminates the shutter lag noticeable on conventional compact digital cameras. 		 

The focus dial sets camera focus when the focus mode is set to M (manual) mode. You can easily adjust the dial while holding the grip and concentrating on your subject.



The AE/AF lock lever locks focusing. You can use it while holding the grip. 		 

The camera quick shoe makes it easy to install and remove the camera without changing gear adjustments or position. It provides a secure connection between the camera and the housing. The port lock secures the port to the housing to prevent accidental removal underwater. 		 

The top of the housing provides a power switch, an exposure correction button, and a exposure button. You can press down the exposure correction and exposure mode buttons to fix them in the down position. Once fixed you can adjust them with a single hand.
