Tinderbox Marine Reserve

This area is used by a lot of diving courses however the majority of the area is sand/mud. There is a snorkeling trail to the south with information plaques underwater and permanently errected dive flags. By far the best diving in the reserve is north towards Piersons Pt. The climb down the cliff at Fishermans Haul is worth the effort. This are is exposed to southerl weather and makes for an interesting night dive.
