Nepean Wall

Depth:  15m-60+m, best diving 18-30m
Experience:  Level: 3

Site layout:
-Nepean Wall is part of a large boomerang shaped trench at The Heads -Wall drops dramatically on N side to 66m -The trench (entrance deep) extends Southwards out of The Heads.

Points of interest:
-Large vertical drops -Huge caves & undercuts -Prolific marine life, both reef & pelagic fish

Bottom composition: Sandy with patches of weed
Water movement/currents: Strong near Heads - must be dived at slack (approx. 30mins duration) with calm sea & low swell.
Hazards: Depth, Strong current when turning to a flood, divers may be swept over reef.
