Site layout:
-Hull lies upright, N-S orientation, bow points south

Points of interest:

-Stern: rudder, crew quarters, engine bed
-Hulk has been hollowed out
-Large deck openings to view inside

-Plaque at base of conning tower commemorating its rediscovery
-Inside look out for: brass fittings, wiring, wood flooring, lead sheeting & bulkheads

Bottom composition: Rocky seabed, stern appears to merge into the reef
Water movement/currents: Outside heads, no current, can get choppy & quite strong surge
Hazards: *surge - especially around the broken section, *entrapment - do not penetrate the wreck if you are not wreck or cave rated, take a reel
