The Navy Pier

Serviced by:  Exmouth Dive    Agro

Want to see fish? Want to do a wreck like dive without all the hazards? The pier is a MUST DO!

Ranked as one of the worlds top dive sites! The main attraction is the amount and variety of fish life: big schools of snapper, trevally, barracuda, sweetlips, and spangled emperors just to whet your appetite. That's not to mention the large resident Queensland groper, the estuarine cod, the wobbegongs and white tip reef sharks, moray eels and an abundance of reef fish. The pylons are covered in lots of interesting invertebrate life, mainly colourful sponges, but also sea squirts, fire coral, oysters and barnacles. Due to the strong currents in the area, dives can only be scheduled at slack water, which changes daily. Day dives run once or twice a day, and night dives at least once a week. On the high tide, it is possible to do two 45 minute dives with a short break between, but on the low tide, a much shorter slack window exists, so only one 60 minutes is possible.

One word describes this dive SPECTACULAR!!!
